Craft Note

In Indian tradition, shringar was never just adornment, it was a language of tradition. Shringar-e-Cheetah borrows that idea dictating to an animal we rarely associate with grace in stillness. The Cheetah, a creature defined by speed, restlessness and motion that never settles quiet.

Here, she pauses. Adorned in jewel tones with hand embroidered zari and stone work used for generations in bridal craft, she is portrayed not as a predator, but as something choosing to be beautiful on her own terms. The wildness doesn't disappear under the embellishment it rather sharpens and this is what shringar has always meant, not concealment, but to glorify the slight imperfections that make it appear to be perfect and different. It is a kind of armour supposed to be worn proudly.

Hand embroidered on premium grade satin by artisans from Magadh, Bihar, every piece carries small, deliberate imperfections the kind only a human hand leaves behind. Shringar-e-Cheetah is for the wall that wants to hold the aura of softness and ferocity in the same breath.
